As of June 22nd What Studio will be re-opening its doors to you. Kinda… What Studio is lucky to have a very large, well-ventilated space, suitable for social distancing and we are ready to record your project, safely.

Consider it a careful, slow re-opening, allowing only one member from a project at a time to record, following advice from the Music Producers Guild.

To summarise :

  1. One musician a time, which reduces the number of individuals anyone can come into contact with.
  2. Keeping the activity time involved as short as possible.
  3. Remote work whenever possible ie mixing, mastering, etc.
  4. It remains essential to keep your hands and face as clean as possible.

NB The rules regarding self-isolation have not changed, and those who either show symptoms or live with somebody showing symptoms will still need to self-isolate for 14 days.

A full risk assessment for What Studio has been undertaken. Safety measures are in place, including the use of hand sanitiser, social distancing floor markings, and signing-in to the building, to support Track and Trace procedures. Get in touch if you have any questions.
